Sang froid
(2003). Pierre-Louis Levacher. Francia. 6 minutos
Ever since we were tots (or not quite so tots, depending on whether or not our parents let us see programmes by Chicho Ibáñez Serrador and horror movies on the television) we’ve know that if we meet a vampire we have to repel it with garlic, stakes, holy water, crucifixes (or anything in the shape of a cross as Peter Cushing knew so well), sunlight... A man hounded by vampires seeks refuge in a church, at the feet of Jesus Christ, under the protection of the holy cross. But what if the movies were lying to us? What would happen if things aren’t the way we were told by Browning, Fisher and company? An amusing digital comedy on the relationship between vampirism and Christianity.
