“Congratulations! You've won the lottery! You've died a sinner but we're going to give you a second chance!" so states an angel to a soul that has just died. The soul is then placed in the body of Makoto Kobayashi, a 14 year old boy who has just committed suicide. Guided by the capricious spirit Purapura and with absolutely no memory of his past, the soul must find out which major sin he committed in his previous life before his time is up in Makoto's body. Completely immersed in his new life, at first he does not understand what might have tipped Makoto over the edge, but little by little he discovers his family and friends' eccentricities whilst beginning to understand the real purpose of the assignment he has been entrusted with.
