Nine characters wake up in a room. They do not know where they are. They do not remember how they got there. They do not know each other. A strange masked character appears: this is their host, the master of ceremonies in a macabre game they will be forced to participate in. A game of life or death where only one of them will survive, as they face off against each other with different tests where they will be eliminated one by one. During the first stage of their trip, they have to eat a piece of sushi: one of them is poisoned and will kill whomever eats it. This is Yoshikazu Ishii's debut feature, after working on a great number of films and television productions as a special-effect technician.
