Carcan
(2002). Stéphane Levallois. Francia. 2 minutos
A weird striptease. A woman who takes off her clothes and changes in the doing. A radical metamorphosis in the space of a dance. Nothing’s what it seems to be and nothing’s what it is. Suggestive movements changing reality. Surprise! Stéphane Levallois directs his first short film after several years of working as a strip cartoonist: he’s made advertising storyboards for prestigious moviemakers like Marc Caro, has worked in the video game field and in 2000 published his first comic, Noé. Carcan has been screened at festivals all over the world, garnering the Canal+ Award at Brest Festival.
