| Exhibition
dedicated to the North American photographer Doris Kloster, expert in
the world of fetishism, whose works have hung in some of the most prestigious
USA and European galleries. The exhibition consists of two parts: Rituals
of Love and Demimonde. Rituals of Love features photographs from three of Kloster’s books: Doris Kloster (1996), a voyage to the world of stylized sadomasochistic ritual; Forms and Desire (2000) penetrating the world of feminine sexuality, and particularly the relationship between desire and fantasy; and The Illustrated Story of O (2001), the portrayal in images of the most famous book in the history of erotic literature, written by Pauline Reage. Demimonde (2002) is a visual exploration of fetishism, comprising photographs taken in different American and European cities.
