| Evelyn’s
really white. And she’s got the most awful bags under her eyes.
And she dresses in black. She looks like another of the Addams’
family offspring. The thing is that she’s dead. And if your everyday
adolescent has problems getting on in the world, things get much more
complicated when you’re dead. Evelyn tries to make friends (alive).
She makes a new dress (black, of course), she puts on lipstick (with crow’s
blood, obviously), and sets off out into the street in search of love.
She tries to fit into a world of colours and cardboard in which the story
takes place. But of course, their customs are different, as are their
cultures, their hearts either beat or don’t... But everyone’s
got the right to be happy. There’s always a friend with whom to
have fun and laugh; it’s only a question of finding him. |
