| Darkness
has been feared by human beings ever since the dawning of time. We’ve
always been disturbed by not being able to see. But what is perhaps more
worrying is not being able to see everything, just a part. Fog prevents
us from seeing things as a whole, it only conveys a few snippets of reality,
it makes us feel insecure, deceives, appears and disappears, is and isn’t.
Fog envelops and moves and hides and surrounds and reminds and brings
people from other times wanting revenge. Antonio Bay celebrates its 100th
anniversary. But the village was built on the blood, bones and gold of
a group of men who’re back to settle the score. Jamie Lee Curtis
works once again with Carpenter, and this time alongside her mother. |
