The
Gateway to Hell (2003). T. Ashley Strange. Nueva Zelanda. 14 minutos |
Traditionally, paradise is considered to be up above, and hell down below; the angels and archangels and saints and goodies and the fair people to live up on high and the followers of Satan, the baddies, to live (or at least exist) in the depths of the earth (whether Jules Verne likes it or not). When an American oil company finds what looks like the body of Christ nailed to the cross and a door opens to the unknown, they immediately call the experts in the subject (i.e. the Vatican) to send someone to tell them what they’ve found, to confirm whether or not they’ve opened something that would have been better left buried, to know if the doors to hell have been opened. A spectacular work combining biblical prophecies, helicopters, martial arts and perhaps God and the Devil. |
