Wonderful Days
(2003). Kim Moon-saeng. Corea del Sur. 90 minutos
Ladies and gentlemen, the show is about to begin. The Apocalypse happened but we’ve survived, even though Death, Contamination and Horror surround us. Humanity is still divided. Some of it can take shelter in an extremely high security city. The rest of the starving legion will perish. The proposed movie is Korean, animation, and takes its references from marvels like Shrek. The animation is total, traditional, handcrafted, in 2D and 3D, not to mention other possibilities still at the development stage. The world response to this tale of action, vengeance, hatred, betrayal and love has been colossal. Applauded by magazines like Variety and Newsweek, its Japanese screening rights were purchased at an exorbitant price. The film will receive its European premiere at our Festival.
