| Monsters
of the collective subconscious is an exhibition of the monsters
inhabiting the human mind. Biting in tone, the illustrations reflect the
vileness existing in every miserable aspect of the human being. They are
monsters deformed by sadness, hatred, vanity, loneliness and a long list
of psychological calamities.
Actor
and cartoonist Zoe Berriatúa has worked on movies like África
(Alfonso Ungría, 1996), El ángel de la guarda
(The Guardian Angel, Santiago Matallana, 1996), La camisa de
la serpiente (Antoni P. Canet, 1997), Volavérunt
(Bigas Luna, 1999) and El lado oscuro (Luciano Berriatúa,
2002). He directed the short film Moebio (2000).
