Manhunt / Rovdyr

Manhunt / Rovdyr

The Festival bid high for this film. Why? If we go back to the 1970s, we’re back to driving a Volkswagen van and we go back into the bar of village lost in the woods with girlfriends dressed (or undressed) in hot pants and boob tubes. Of course, we didn’t know that Sweden also has its aborigines, dwellers, natives like in the Backwoods by Koldo Serra… Why is half the fantasy world so interested in this movie if it is like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre or El rey de la montaña but in Swedish and if they are so stupid that they throw the keys to the van into the undergrowth at the worst possible moment? Maybe because it has a completely perfect cinematographic bill and the hunting has an immeasurable power of horror abstraction?
