Barry is having a peaceful bath, enjoying the moment, completely relaxed, with not a care in the world. He’s even ousted his rubber duck to avoid any type of distraction that might break the tranquillity of the moment. But something unexpected happens, something that shouldn’t happen, something unexplainable... or maybe not so strange? Fortunately, there’s always a pub close by to go to for a think with a pint of beer. Irish Damian McCarthy’s second short film (after the surprising, disturbing and premonitory, He Dies at the End) is a fun and surreal story about maternity, oviparity, beer and... hope.
