La semana del asesino
Spain, 1973
After a heated discussion, a young man (Vicente Parra) accidentally murders a taxi driver with a single blow. Panic stricken by his fear of being discovered, paranoia pushes him to carry out a second and bloody homicide that opens the door to a spiral of criminal violence threatening to make a victim out of anyone that might be suspected of knowing what happened that fateful night. Eusebio Poncela, Lola Herrera and Emma Cohen complete the cast of a dirty, sharp and suffocating Iberian thriller that was well and truly savaged by Franco's censor who managed to impose an epilogue that was not exactly what Eloy de la Iglesia had in mind.
