Mythical film from the 1970s directed by the peculiar film lover (as he says himself) Bo Arne Vibenius, who wrote it in three days on deciding, after the financial failure of his first experience as a director (after giving up his position as Sergeant in the Army) to film the most commercial movie ever written. And so this story of revenge was born. A girl called Madeleine is raped by an old man, and the trauma leaves her mute for life. Years later she is kidnapped by a pimp who starts to inject her with heroin so she doesn´t run away. Whilst she is sexually exploited she attends classes on martial arts, shooting and driving to prepare her revenge. Ruthless, no holds barred, dry, amazing, much-imitated or copied ever since by many filmmakers.
