The Wolves

The story goes that 800 years ago, a piper rid Hamelin town of an invasion of rats. With the problem gone, people forgot their fear and obligations, leading to the piper’s revenge. Now, 800 years later, history almost repeats itself. This time it’s a pianist, a strange, sinister soul, who with his music rids the town of an invasion of wolves. And just as before, once the problem is solved, the town forgets its obligations. So the pianist, sore at being swindled, decides to take revenge and return the Wolves to the city, spreading chaos and ruin.
Extra spectacular street show featuring huge, sophisticated marionettes, music and amazing special effects.

Who is Miguel Noguera?
Hi, I'm Miguel Noguera. I was born in Gran Canaria in 1979. I lived in Mallorca from the age of three to eighteen years old and then I moved to Barcelona to study Fine Art. I still live in Barcelona. For the past six years I have been performing the Ultrashow. I've just published my first book, Ultraviolencia.
What is Ultrashow?
It's a type of monologue-conference where I explain my ideas for an hour. I explain them one after another, in any old order. There are thirty ideas in an Ultrashow. Some can be explained in a short sentence, whilst others take several minutes and I like others more and get into it and so I go into greater detail and add little extras for the fun of it, I have a bit of a laugh but it's OK. When I'm on form, I sometimes think that what I do isn't so bad.
