A young man, accompanied by a mysterious teddy, visits an abandoned astronomy observatory to face up to his past. In the same place many years ago, when he was very young, he witnessed how his father started out on an extraordinary trip into the unknown. The boy is back to try and find an explanation to what happened so long ago, making a transcendental impression on this life. Bowing under the weight of its awards (in three continents) this short film on magical journeys and what it means to be human is directed by an Edinburgh College of Art graduate duo: Simon Cartwright and Jessica Cope.
