Save the Rhinoceros / Pelastakaa sarvikuonot

Finland's Tomi Malkki, alias Malakias, heavy metal and horror movie fan, is back at the Festival. In 2009 he presented the gory short film Bloody Hands, last year he was a member of the jury and now he is bringing the exhibition entitled Torn and Bleeding Clay to Okendo Culture Centre and this work that mixes BBC 2 style documentaries, highly colourful animation typical of his work and “found footage” to tell the story of a rhino hunter in Africa, the search for its horn, a lost tribe in the depths of the world and maybe an inter-racial love story.
