When Bert receives a visit from his attractive neighbour from downstairs, dressed suggestively, asking him for a cup of sugar (suiker), his mind starts down a totally logical path. The myth of the neighbour (male or female, but more likely female) asking for a cup of sugar (or salt, or coffee or whatever) has been nourished, if not directly created (like nearly everything) by many decades of movies and British TV series. If an attractive woman (or man, but less likely) living in a neighbouring flat knocks on your door to ask you for something that she doubtlessly already has back in her kitchen, she obviously is after something else. Fun and surprising short film that shows how easy it is to make life complicated of an evening.
