Fabulous. Like in the olden days of last century when the directors signed their films with names other than their own using Anglo phonetics and Saxon echoes. Ricard Reguant, who has made a lot of great TV stuff apart from the brilliant No me toques el pito que me irrito (1983) and Sueca bisexual necesita semental (1982) –where he plays the shy guy– for example, usually signs his features Richard Vogue. Ricard-Richard knocked up, with others and in 2011, this magnificent recreation of the best in sex, blood, smuttiness and violence plus the odd (and somewhat lesbo) chick locked in the big house where not unlike Kubrik’s Alex and his thugs (but obviously a bit more slutty in style) a sadistic queer and two of his well-endowed bitches break in to steal. What they don’t realise is that the house belongs to Manuel Zarzo, capable of surviving Lo verde empieza en los Pirineos (1973) and Tiovivo c. 1950 (2004) and even of being great in Gonzalo Suárez’s Epílogo (1984) or in the series Juncal (1989). On screen too, Sonia Monroy, the girl who went into catatonic shock when she was thrown out of the Supervivientes reality show.
