Feature films entry regulations

Feature films participating in the international competition at the 23^nd Donostia – San Sebastián Horror and Fantasy Film Festival will be eligible for the Audience Award, that comes with € 6.000 for the Spanish distributor of the film or the company that submitted it, should the film have no distribution company in Spain.

Submission guidelines

Submission deadline is August 15th, 2011. In order to be eligible for preview, the entry must be post-marked before the deadline date. This entry deadline applies to the receipt of the preview DVD (both NTSC and PAL formats) and entry form. Please ensure your DVD is playable and is suitably protected in transit, and that a copy of the registration form is attached with it. Preview DVDs will not be returned.

DVDs must be labelled with:

• Film title
• Main contact email
• Director’s name
• Length in minutes

If sending international, please mark “Without commercial value, for cultural purposes only” on package.

A film is considered a Feature for entry and categorisation purposes if it is 31 minutes or more. NO FILM UNDER THAT LENGTH WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS REGISTRATION. Films 30 minutes or less are eligible for entry in the Short Film Competition, and have to entry by registering at www.shortfilmdepot.com.
