A story that takes it roots from the past, based on a tragic event that happened long ago: the disappearance of an 8-year-old girl and how this affected the rest of the family. The father died and the uncle committed suicide. The mother dresses her young son, Yuya, in his sister's clothing, and he says he can constantly feel her presence. The older brother, Yuichiro, a philosophy student, is drawn into the world of sadomasochism in this turbid, ambiguous and story with an atmosphere that sucks you in. This is the third feature-length film directed Kazuyoshi Kumakiri, who, throughout his career, alternates gripping dramas such as Hole in the Sky (2001) with incursions into more suggestive fantasy, such as Freesia (2006).
