It all begins with Noboru Iguchi recording an interview with the businessman who will be starring in (and producing) his next short film, where he will be playing the role he has always dreamed of, a superhero trying to save a schoolgirl from death. Over this course of this film, chock-full of humour, pop music, a certain nostalgia and action, Damager (who only transforms when he feels pain) will face off against all kinds of bad guys to save the young girl. Noboru Iguchi, one of the jauntiest, most frenetic cornerstones of Japanese fantasy in this new millennium, pours his entire arsenal into his latest project, which follows the path set forth by other films such as The Machine Girl (2008), Robogeisha (2009) and Dead Sushi (2013).
