The Hungarian director of the superb White Dog (2014) proposes this tale of the first superhero among the refugees left suffering at the doors of this impious Europe. A policeman bangs four shots into a Syrian youngster. The boy, instead of dying, rises up towards the sky. In the camp, a doctor of rather corrupt disposition decides that his ability to levitate is a gold-mine... A more than ambitious parable, some were reminded of Iñárritu, although the scene of the hotel shoot-out is rather more redolent of influence à la Michael Mann.
