It was in Cannes. It was part, with honour and glory, of the magnificent 7 chosen for presentation in the Upcoming Fantastic Films section. In fact, it was part of the trilogy dreamt up by the Onetti Brothers, Luciano and Nicolás, as a homage to the Italian masters of horror in the 60s and 70s. The other titles are Sonno profondo (2013) and Francesca (2015). The story also includes a murdered magician and another on the point of succumbing to a lethal maelstrom, but the important part of this film is the hypersaturated colour, the use made of the music (so gialloist) and those performances so finely tuned to the colouring of the film.
