The submission of feature films and short films for the 30th Horror and Fantasy Film Festival (October 26 – November 1) is open from today, June 10th, and until August 15th.
The San Sebastian Horror and Fantasy Film Festival and the Photographic Society of Gipuzkoa call to professional and amateur photographers to take part at the commemorative exhibition 30Stills30.
The Horror and Fantasy Film Festival audience features on the poster of its 30th edition, to run from 26 October to 1 November 2019.
The premiere of the Basque production Napardeath – Ataun of the Dead III (2019) will take place on Sunday, 5 May, at 19:00 in the Principal Theatre.
Before the film, we will unveil the poster for the 30th edition of the Horror and Fantasy Film Festival, to run from October 26 and November 1 this year.
The film One Cut of the Dead (Japan, 2017) has won the Audience Award to the Best Feature Film at the 29th San Sebastian Horror and Fantasy Film Festival, that finishes tonight with the screening of He's Out There (2018).
The exhibition Fantasmías & Antepasadolls will be open between October 27th and November 11th at the Activities Hall of the Municipal Library.
The exhibition Euskadi Fantastikoa XIV: musgo – Patri de Blas & Álvaro Corcín / Fantasia & Ilustrazioa will be open between October 27th and November 17th at the Municipal Library (Alderdi Eder).
A selection of short films made in recent years using virtual reality techniques will be screened during the first days of the Festival at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre, in the multipurpose room of the Plaza Okendo. On display among others will be works directed by big-name filmmakers in the genre, such as Alexandre Aja and Nacho Vigalondo.
The exhibition Superheroiak – David Aja will be open between October 27th and December 8th at the Okendo Cultural Center.
