The film Extra Ordinary (Mike Ahern and Enda Loughman; Ireland-Belgium, 2019) has won the Audience Award to the Best Feature Film at the 30th San Sebastian Horror and Fantasy Film Festival, that finishes tonight with the screening of Ventajas de viajar en tren (2019).
The exhibition Paul Naschy – An autobiography in images will be open between October 26th and December 14th at the Okendo Cultural Center.
The exhibition Creators of Legends – Homage to HR Giger will be open between October 26th and November 10th at the Activities Hall of the Municipal Library.
The exhibition Euskadi Fantastikoa XV: Ajuar funerario – Beñat Olea / Fantasia marrazten will be open between October 25th and November 16th at the Municipal Library (Alderdi Eder).
A selection of short films made in recent years using virtual reality techniques will be screened during the first days of the Festival at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre.
The exhibition The fantastic art of Roland Topor will be open between October 24th and December 8th at Kutxa Kultur Plaza (Tabakalera – 4th floor).
The exhibition 30photos30 – Horror and Fantasy Film Festival memories will be open between October 24th and November 8th at the Sociedad Fotográfica de Gipuzkoa.
Third edition of the legendary War of Fanzines, where a variety of publications bring out special issues dedicated to the 30th San Sebastian Horror and Fantasy Film Festival and compete for the favour of the audience from October 26 to November 1. In collaboration with Destok publishing corner at Ubik, Tabakalera Creation Library and FNAC.
The exhibition Zipi and Zape in their original format – An exhibition of Escobar’s illustrations will be open between September 20th and November 4th at the FNAC.
The Youth Department of the Town Hall participates at the festival with the creation of the Youth Jury, composed by 150 members (between 18 and 30 years), that will give the Youth Jury Award to the Best Short Film of the 30th Horror and Fantasy Film Festival.
