We have a huge crush on Pollyanna McIntosh. We love the Scots. Swinton makes us weak at the knees. Pollyanna, Anne/Jadis in "The Walking Dead". Pollyanna, the feral girl in The Woman (2011). Pollyanna, who directs Darlin', about a girl from the forest, an ex-addict nun and a bishop deserving of nothing but the worst. We love the Scots. A lot. An awful lot. Because they are bold, bubbly, bloodthirsty. And because they know how to surround themselves with especially biased people. One example is Halyna Hutchins, director of photography. We really like dark girls that weirdly relate to forests, crosses and gods. With their first period. With the body of Christ. And with the Holy Spirit.
