Young Sally answers an ad for a job in a small office, Dolls Inc., where the sinister Mr Franz makes dolls; however, in his free time and thanks to a device of his invention, he sets about shrinking people and adding them to his collection. Here the specialist in the genre Bert I. Gordon, helmer the previous year of The Cyclops and The Amazing Colossal Man, reverses the situation to focus this time round on little people in this film shot on the back of the successful The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957).
