At the 31st Festival, decked out in masks and fewer in number for viral reasons, there just had to be a movie about a pandemic. And if it was signed by one of the most talented students to come out of the Berlinale Talent Campus, even better. And it only lasts for 56 minutes, excellent! And if it makes us think of classic works like The Blair Witch Project (1999) or Paranormal Activity (2007), magnificent! Rob Savage, who won the BFI Future Film Award in 2011 for his sci-fi short Sit in Silence, brings a movie totally filmed using the Zoom virtual conference platform. The storyline, nothing new here: a seance where, it goes without saying because otherwise we wouldn't be here at the Festival, things won't go precisely to plan...
