Famous puppeteer André Toulon discovers an Egyptian formula for bringing the dead back to life, in this case his puppets, which soon transform into murderous blood-thirsty creatures. The group of nostalgic Nazis behind the discovery corner Toulon and he commits suicide. Years later, four people with psychic powers are summoned to a hotel. Charles Band produces this film opening one of the most prolific contemporary horror sagas, consisting until now of another ten movies.
