It was shown one midnight in Cannes and everyone knew it was going to break box offices in Seoul, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Saigon. When the Côte d'Azur festival ended, it had already been sold to 156 different countries, and as of the 15th of September, much more than 11 million viewers had seen it in South Korea. And with good reason. This is a lethal adventure where we ride in a train while the country is being infested with zombies (the traditional kind: clumsy, hungry; if they don't see you, they don't bite you and noise distracts them). Of course, from minute one out of its 118 minutes there is a passenger who gets bit on the express to Busan. The film is impeccable and unrelenting. It's marvellous, don't think (all) the good guys will be saved...
