In 2009 François Descraques launched a web series. Futuristic, but only somewhat. The subject? Power plants. Electric, nuclear, thermal. It was a runaway success. Within four seasons it clocked up a total of 52 million visits. On 7 September this year, 2022, with Europeans fearing that this winter they will have to heat their water in bathtubs over firewood, or pay a unicorn's ransom for every kilowatt of power, the feature-length film born out of the series was released in France. François is still dreaming of Back to the Future (1985). In this thrillingly political family parody, the central character will be forced to decide whether to kill his father (a parliamentarian and supporter of far from renewable energy) to save humanity. A real family drama, against a radioactive background.
