So get stuck into his latest film, in which Evil awaits in the hollow trunk of a tree growing in impure soil. Owain's dog, Pippin, senses it, but who in a horror film has ever taken notice of a labrador barking in the dark? No one. And that's the way it goes. The whole lot of them possessed, slashed with machetes, turned into vampires. Pippin bites Owen, who develops a ravenous thirst for blood. Mum (ex-alcoholic, etc.) knows how to get plasma.
