And the one who is speaking, calmly and in perfect English (one of the many languages he speaks fluently), the Chicano that many call The Traveller. He was found in a clandestine shelter for the wetbacks trying to cross the Rio Grande. The only survivor of a massacre… And so, between portals connecting the Beyond with the Here and Now, begins this anthology directed by five thoroughbred filmmakers: Alejandro Brugués of Juan of the Dead (2011), Mike Mendez who opened the Festival in 2000 with The Convent, Eduardo Sánchez of the legendary The Blair Witch Project (1999), Demian Rugna of When Evil Lurks (2023) and (take note!) actress, screenwriter and director Gigi Saul Guerrero (Bingo Hell, 2021).
