Someone said that this work by the director and scriptwriter of Them (2006) was as if George Romero had made Run, Lola, Run (1998). It may sound like an outlandish comment, but it isn't. Filmed stylishly, and very much at night, in what is probably a fake long take, the film recounts the nightmare of a young guy who leaves his drug dealer's house all set for a party where there will be plenty of everything. Halfway there, a woman gets into his car. She has no teeth, no tongue. She is, of course, hysterical. He will have to get her to the closest hospital… This is a story of virus, pandemic outbreak and mysterious drugs. Elegant, psychotic, virulent. Three characters on the run. Run, David, Run.
