“The world is a wonderful stage, but it has an appalling cast”, says one of the creatures that populate the universe created by the director of Psiconautas (2015) and Unicorn Wars (2022), but also of the disturbing and powerfully philosophical 2012 short Ramiro, sucia rata. “Our relationship is falling apart and all you can think about is running away”, another creature shouts at her partner in this troubling animation. Another of the bears goes to see a psychiatrist, and on telling him that he does not know if events are real or just a dream, the therapist is quick to ease his mind: “In this world, dreaming is impossible”. A dove let's this fly at another melancholic being: “I'm fed up of seeing parasites like you”. Let us enter the realm of Huxley, where everyone must take a tablet a day to guarantee (or not) 100% happiness.
