Manga euskaraz: Kabe zigiluaren berritasunak 2025-26
Mikel Muro – Harriet Ediciones (Kabe)

mangharriet2

In 2022 the Harriet publishing house, headed by Gregorio and Koro Muro, created the Kabe imprint. There, under the coordination of Mikel Muro, the company publishes manga in the Basque language. They were, then, the first to bring this Japanese comic tradition to Basque. Cube Arts, comprising three volumes drawn and written by Tomomi Usui, was the first work to be released under the Kabe name. Since then, they have translated another six manga series over the past three years, all courtesy of translator Iker Álvarez, from Navarre.

One Piece: Luffy eta Luffy, bi ahots, bi belaunaldi
Jon Samaniego / Xabier Alkiza

one_piece_25

There can be no questioning that One Piece is a global phenomenon, transcending formats, countries and languages. In the Basque Country it was broadcast in the Basque language on ETB in the late 2000s. Now, a new live action series produced by Netflix is racking up millions of views on the platform. In both cases, two dubbing artists from Gipuzkoa have lent their voices to the man who aspires to be King of the Pirates. Xabier Alkiza was the voice of Luffy in the anime version in Basque, while Jon Samaniego is the voice of Luffy in Spanish in the new live action version.
