A mysterious interdimensional portal releases a horde of mischievous and bloodthirsty creatures at a Finnish ski resort, turning a dream holiday for Zach, a US exchange student obsessed with 80s cinema, and his friends into a terrifying experience. What was meant to be an epic party full of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll, with Christopher Lambert as the star guest, descends into absolute chaos as the Creeps run riot.
Riko, a receptionist at a fashion house, lives a quiet life in the city. One day, she notices worrying changes in the social media posts of her Taiwanese friend Shufen, who begins to upload cryptic videos. At almost the same time, a disfigured corpse appears on the coast of Taiwan. When Riko fails in her attempts to contact Shufen, she teams up with her ex-boyfriend Jiahao to investigate, only to discover that Shufen died six months earlier. Her social media profiles nonetheless continue to post disturbing messages.

Yu is transferred to the same high school as the protagonist, Ai. One day a student appears, crawling across the school yard, although no one pays him too much attention. A few days later, a human pyramid forms on the ground when the students arrive at school. Their teachers force them to join in. Yu attempts to disrupt the pyramid but proves unable, and the group dissolves as if nothing had happened.
