The film Deathstalker (Steve Kostanski, 2025) has won the Audience Award to the Best Feature Film at the 36th San Sebastian Horror and Fantasy Film Festival, that finishes tonight at Main Theatre with the screening of Primate (2025).

The jury of the Blogos de Oro critics' award at the 36th San Sebastian Horror and Fantasy Film Festival, made up of Iker Casado (Casado con el Cine), Santi Serrano (Revista Young España), Mikel Peña (RavenHeart), Amaia Egüés (Atemporalia) and Manuel Aguilar (CineDePatio) have given their accolade to Silencio, for using blood as the central strand linking social drama and vampirism, without overlooking the originality and irreverence of its creator, giving the film a fresh and strident voice in the fantasy genre, along with a very direct message about the stigma of AIDS.
