“A Kite”

Sawa is a high school student. Sawa is a hit man. Obsessed with finding the people who killed her parents three years before, the teenager swings between text books and guns working on commission for a corrupt policeman who decided to look after her but who also abuses her sexually. After meeting another young hit man, also an orphan, Sawa starts to suspect that the person who killed her parents is not hiding in the far-off mountains or remote deserts… “A Kite” (and by association its creator Yasuomi Umetsu) surprised everyone submerging many experienced otakus in a graphic spiral of sex and violence.
