Charlotte Elbourne, daughter of the wealthiest family in the region, is kidnapped by Baron Meier Link, a powerful vampire. The young girl’s father calls two teams of fortune hunters to rescue her at any price: one group led by the cruel Markus brothers on the one hand, and on the other, the half man, half vampire D. Both contenders throw themselves into a race against time to hunt down Link and find Charlotte, but also to win the succulent reward of 20 million dollars. Matters get even more complicated when we find out that the heiress has not been kidnapped but has fled with the Baron of her own free will. The dark yet brilliant talent of Yoshiaki Kawajiri at the service of a story written by Japan’s own Stephen King, Hideyuki Kikuchi.
