Birdboy

Everything changes in little Dinki’s life that day. She left home for school with her father. After a brief encounter with a strange, introverted school mate, Birdboy, they say goodbye... and nothing will ever be the same again. A terrible industrial accident destroys life on the island and for its inhabitants. Maybe in the new world, the last hope for Dinki will be Birdboy himself. Uneasy post-apocalyptic short film directed by the Bilbao director and scriptwriter Pedro Rivero (La crisis carnívora) and La Coruña’s comic artist Alberto Vázquez based on his graphic novel Psiconautas. This is the story of two very different beings that try and escape from an oppressive and asphyxiating environment where they no longer wish to live.
