Which is the Best Cigarette? This is what a pack of One Red cigarettes wonders before it embarks upon its suicidal destiny, the work it has been trained for. Once the packet has been opened, all cigarettes must fulfil their mission (to be smoked), trying to behave as best they can and become a good cigarette, if possible The Best. But which is the Best Cigarette? In these days when tobacco is savagely hounded, the veteran Pedro P. Jiménez –back in the game after directing award-winning shorts Mambrú and Planeta extraño a few years ago– and newbie Luis M. Segura present a short film that talks openly about the pleasure of smoking although from the cigarette’s perspective. Or is it just the smoker that enjoys it?
