Flourtown

Flourtown

The city of Flourtown lives off manufacturing tornadoes, which they sell to be used as weapons of war. One day, two children accidentally die in abandoned well number 7. The upper echelons of the town, businessmen, bankers, politicians are not too bothered about it. For them the only thing that matters is increasingly production and adding to their coffers... at any price, even though their tornadoes are used for war and people get killed. This is a suggestive fable with visual echoes of silent films blending drawings, photographs and 3D images. First work by William Slichter, declaring his admiration for filmmakers such as Fritz Lang or F. W. Murnau.
