The dog that was too clumsy and inept to be a guard dog or a guide dog in the first two parts of this series (Guard Dog and Guide Dog) once again tries to find something to do with its life in this work from Portland genius, Bill Plympton (who is also presenting his new feature film this year at the Festival: Idiots and Angels). On this occasion the dog wants to be a fireman. He decides to become an asbestos-toting hero, firm in his mission to save all human lives possible. Will this be the one? Will this dog finally find his purpose? Will he be able to throw all his best intentions into the right job? Will he be lucky this time? Will he be successful? Does anyone think so?
