Berni’s Doll

Berni works in a cat food factory. His life isn’t exactly exciting. He goes from home to work and from work to home. To put an end to this lonely existence he decides to buy a woman but he doesn’t have very much money, so he has to buy her bit by bit (and from the Third World, of course, where they are cheaper). First the torso which has the bits he is most interested in, then he’ll have to work hours and hours to manage to save enough to buy the other parts of the body. Yann J directs this short film which has travelled the world with its story of loneliness, slavery, sex, male-female relationships and squashed mice.
