Space and time come together in a special way in the life of Monsieur Sélavy. Peter Volkart –director of the fantastic and award-winning short entitled Terra incognita– uses this delicate piece of work to present a journal on his adventures and mishaps in the world, on the ups and downs he has to overcome to keep going and the dignity and poise with which he confronts them. This forms a trip around the known and hidden world. From the sewers of a great city to the choppy seas, from elevators with no apparent destination to inhospitable deserts, from innumerable hotel rooms to lands of perpetual snows…
