Dying Breed

Dying Breed

What do we know about Tasmania? We knew about the Tasmanian “Devil”, cartoon good-for-nothing with a terrible temper. As the cinema always has an exquisite cultural point, thanks to this first feature length work from a fantastic short film maker we will discover that there used to be a very magnificent Tasmanian tiger on the island as well. It is thought that this candid carnivore disappeared although the main character thinks otherwise and sets off on a road to hell with no way back to discover the last living creature of the species.  She knows that her sister died in the attempt but she is not aware that the next biggest beast on this Oceania island was a prisoner who not only disembowelled almost all his victims but also left offspring in the forest!  This child is exclusively dedicated to complying with the divine order of “Grow and multiply.”
