The family that terrorises the world together will always be a happy family.The maestro Dario Argento, the king of giallo, directs Mother of Tears (Mater Lachrymarum) whilst his brother Claudio is executive producer and his daughter, the magnificent Asia, plays the restoration and archaeology student who is the focus of rage and desires for revenge from the third of the three great witches who have dominated the infra-world for many millenniums. All this goes on in Rome, which as Asia is reminded by a woman who will end up impaled, is an eternal city built on layers and layers of nameless tombs.
