This is a Christmas story, only much more perverse than Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. According to the publicity, in 2010 everyone will end up believing in Santa Claus, which we think is neither good nor bad, quite the contrary. By the way, it’s best to forget what you thought you knew about Santa (including what you learnt from Bad Santa). As it says in the trailer, what we thought we knew about the guy from the snow that hands out presents (never call him Father Christmas in Finland and Norway) is a bloody lie. For this reason, Jalmari Helander, author of two short films on the same topic (Santa, his kidnapping, his exportation to the rest of the planet) is still determined to tell us the truth and nothing but the truth. Even Jack Skellington would think twice about stealing Christmas if he saw this film.
